A print of the original painting by Ernest Carlos, who also founded the 107th London Troop, which today is known as the 21st Camberwell ( Trinity ) Scout Group.The boy who posed for the painting was Percy Greaves a local choir boy.
The picture was painted in 1913 and was given to Lord Baden-Powell by the artist. The original, which hangs in the Baerlein Room in The White House at Gilwell Park has been reproduced as a stained glass window in several churches.
